If you aren’t keen on the looks of a front mudguard or don’t ride in the mucky stuff enough to warrant the purchase of one then here’s a quick and cheap alternative to keep the muck out of your eyes.

Mud flaps have been about for years and are a firm favourite of the penny pinching racer. For the cost of a knackered old inner tube and a few cable ties these go a long way to keeping the muck out of your eyes.
